Go-to aromatics, and the foundation to most recipes are garlic and onions. They are best to have around all the time to use to whip up things even on days when you really think there’s nothing around to eat. Fresh herbs are also wonderful to throw in as a seasoning or to garnish a finished dish. Lemons are also handy beyond their size so I always have a couple around.
